CURIOUS HOUSE PRIVATE EVENTS & RETREATS
Get together with a group of special friends for the perfect private party. For a unique hen-do or a group get-together to celebrate special occasions, you pick your course, we agree on the date and all you have to do is find up to 8-10 great friends (depending on the course) and we’ll make sure you have the perfect day to remember.

Typically our day courses are from 10am to 3.30pm and include a delicious lunch and refreshments.

Painting with oils – an introduction to this wonderfully flexible medium.
Design and paint your own lampshade - paint a unique and beautiful shade.
Painted furniture – the perfect decorative up-cycling project.
Linocut - design for printing your own cards and pictures.
Marvellous mosaics - create up to three shaped tiles incorporating personal treasures.
Creative writing - lots of fun exercises to develop spontaneity and find your voice on paper.
Collage and mono printing - inspired by nature and take home multiple artworks.
Willow Weaving - plant supports or garden sculptures from this ancient medium.
The price per person is between £120 and £140, depending on the course and the cost of materials.
HOW IT WORKS
When you have decided on your course and the date is agreed, you pay a deposit of £100. Full payment for all places is due 4 weeks prior to the start of the course. If you have any particular requests – special cakes, a glass of wine or fizz you can either bring your own or we can supply them for you.
THE VENUE
If not at your venue, then the parties will be held at The Bell in Ticehurst where you can stay in one of their beautiful rooms should you wish. And when your course is done, take a stroll around the village or a country walk before enjoying a delicious dinner with your nearest and dearest.
