Join us for a day of open-air oil painting in the stunning Sussex countryside, led by acclaimed artist Dani Humberstone. Set against the idyllic backdrop of Lakedown Fishing Lakes, this workshop offers a hands-on introduction to the art of en plein air painting.
Dani will guide you through the essential techniques and considerations of working outdoors - capturing light, mood, and the natural beauty of the surroundings. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your skills, this day will allow you to unleash your creativity and connect with nature.
What to Expect:
Expert tuition in oil painting techniques
Scenic outdoor setting with inspiring views
A relaxed and supportive creative environment
Practical Details:
Light lunches and refreshments are available to purchase from the Tap Room, with lunch options starting from £5–7.
In case of wet weather, shelter is available under the barn, but please come prepared for the elements with appropriate clothing.
Materials are provided, but if you have your own supplies—especially an easel—feel free to bring them along.
Come and paint in the open air, challenge yourself creatively, and enjoy a memorable day in the countryside.
Should you be unable to attend, for whatever reason - we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. You are welcome to transfer your course to friends or family, please let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively we will try to sell your place via our database and social media once the course has reached capacity. If successful, we will refund or offer an alternative course subject to availability. Please note we will deduct a 10% admin charge for any refunds that are made.
