INTERMEIDATE BASKET WEAVING WITH DOMINIC PARRETTE - 22ND AND 23RD SEPTEMBER
In this intermediate, two day course, learn from Dominic how to make a traditional hen basket. This classic frame basket, also known as the Ose basket, makes the ideal foraging or picnic basket. Learn how to set hoops and as the basket weave progresses add the ribs that give the basket it’s strength. Some previous basketmaking experience is recommended for students on this course.
What to Expect
Expert tutelage in a friendly environment.
Small classes sizes.
Two days of hands on basket making.
Practical details
The course runs on two consecutive days at the Bell in Ticehurst.
Lunch and materials are included.
The course runs from 10am to 3:30pm each day.
We plan to be outside in the beautiful Bell gardens, but wet weather plans are in place.

Should you be unable to attend, for whatever reason - we are unable to offer refunds for our courses. You are welcome to transfer your course to friends or family, please let us know who will be attending in your place. Alternatively we will try to sell your place via our database and social media once the course has reached capacity. If successful, we will refund or offer an alternative course subject to availability. Please note we will deduct a 10% admin charge for any refunds that are made.
