LIFE DRAWING WITH EVANGELINE ARMSTRONG - MONDAY 1st JULY 2024

Life drawing practice should be the drumbeat and pulse for every artist.

The focus required to draw ever changing poses of a life model will build confidence in all your art practice. Working mostly with charcoal, we will start by looking at the basics of perspective working with a live model.

A series of drawing exercises to engage the eye and quieten the brain will follow, before we explore the three techniques of drawing that bring the work 'alive' - Movement - Light - Form. All of this will put in to practice in the afternoon as we work on a longer pose.

This course is hosted at The Bell in Ticehurst in their large and very beautiful function room and costs £140. The fee includes all materials, refreshments and a light lunch and working with a live model through the day.
