WILLOW WEAVING PODS AND SPHERES WITH DOMINIC PARRETTE - WEDNESDAY 24th APRIL 2024

Learn from a master weaver how to make your own beautiful pod or sphere. Which ever you choose will grace your garden, or even you home, for many years to come.

Willow is a wonderful material to work with and will give your garden beautiful organic structure. Whether your preference is to make a pod with a whip tailed top, or a classic sphere, the techniques are the same and Dominic is the person to show you how. With all the materials you need and a lifetime of knowledge to share, you will learn from a master craftsman. You will leave with your own sculptural piece plus contacts to source the best willow and top tips on tools of the trade.

This course cost £130 including all materials and a light lunch. You need no previous experiment to attend. Our day starts at 10am and finishes around 3.30pm

Should you need a place to rest your head, for a very special experience, enjoy a night or three at The Bell in Ticehurst, where the courses are hosted. If you would like to bring a partner who doesn’t want to do a course, there are plenty of great things to do locally – a perfect staycation to explore the delights of the Kent/Sussex countryside or our favourite arty places locally.
